Enable VPN right-click update

Hello,

I'm wondering is there any way Bitdefender could create a system tray right-click option for the VPN app, like we can with the security app?

It would be nice to feel like we had some control of checking for an update other than waiting for it to happen automatically.

Or, in the case of a new build update that may resolve an issue, in not uninstalling it and reinstalling it to possibly download the newest version. At least with that manual update option we could check for it in that way.

Compared to the option we do have with the security app.

I reached out to our VPN team for an opinion. They will also receive this thread in their inbox, since it's being forwarded automatically, but let's see if we can get some early feedback on this. I'll circle back if I get any updates.

For the record, I don't think camarie is responsible for this area, the proposal is more relevant to the VPN app developers.

Just following up here, it appears that VPN updates do not work in the same way as antivirus updates.
VPN updates are pushed by developers to endpoints, and if an endpoint has not received the update, this likely means that at that moment the device does not meet the eligibility criteria to install the new build, and sometimes it may be a staged update by design, which cannot be pushed by the user anyway.
