Restoring the original settings of having the WiFi off when the airplane mode is on.
I'd like to share a suggestion for the vulnerability scan. Is this the right place?

It's a very simple one: when we have Windows (in my case, it's Win 11 Pro) in airplane mode, our expectation as users is that it won't have Internet access and the WiFi adapters are disabled. Now, if something changes the WiFi to be enabled while the airplane mode is on, it will allow Internet access; this is normal and could be actioned by another user, another app, anything. My suggestion would be to have in the vulnerability scan the suggestion of restoring the original settings of having the WiFi off when the airplane mode is on, as this is the default behaviour and more secure.

If I understand correctly, the proposed suggestion is for the user to be notified by the vulnerability scan when something turns on wi-fi with airplane mode on?

Yes, that and a bit more: if there's a way to predict whether the wi-fi will be on with the airplane mode on, checking some fort of flag, that's the ideal situation, as we may most likely run a scan when the airplane is off as in some use cases we may enable the airplace mode when leaving the computer unattended for a while.
