Hey Bitdefender Team and Community,
I'm finding the sheer volume of Android notifications from the Bitdefender app quite overwhelming. While I appreciate the proactive security, the constant barrage of alerts, many of which aren't critical, makes it difficult to discern what truly needs my attention.
Currently, the only options seem to be either enabling all notifications or disabling them entirely. Disabling all notifications, however, defeats the purpose of having Bitdefender installed, as I would miss crucial security warnings that genuinely require immediate action.
Therefore, I'd like to propose a feature enhancement: the ability to selectively enable "Critical Alerts Only" for Android notifications.
This would allow users to receive notifications specifically for events that pose a significant security risk and require immediate attention, such as:
- Detection of active malware or phishing attempts.
- Unauthorized access attempts to sensitive data.
- Warnings about compromised Wi-Fi networks.
By implementing this granular control, Bitdefender could significantly improve the user experience by reducing notification fatigue while still ensuring that users are promptly informed about genuine security threats. This would strike a much better balance between comprehensive security and user convenience.
Has anyone else in the community experienced this and would find such a feature useful? I'd love to hear your thoughts and support for this request!
Thanks
