Thank you that resolved my issue of a blank icon on the task bar with a brand new install of Total Security.
For me the problem still exist after last update. No bitdefender icon in tray. The app is running fine, all procesess are running, it's just the icon. Unfortunately the tip above didn't worked, my icon was fine, it wasn't missing.
So, after installing the latest Windows 11 update (24H2, KB5062660), the issue is fixed.
