The strange thing is that many say the opposite, and looking at tests where a lot of malware is executed, BD uses a high percentage of CPU compared to other AVs. However, the test execution times are relatively short even though Bitdefender continues to perform cleaning and disinfection. Even using it on my PCs, even some that are quite old, I don't experience any major slowdowns. Of course, if they were to further optimize CPU usage, especially during scanning and disinfection, it would be ideal.
