As these topics continue to appear across multiple threads, this post serves as an official reference and consolidated update regarding their current status, based on information provided by Bitdefender Support.

On this thread we will focus on the most frequently requested products and features and their status:
1) Bitdefender Product for Linux
Product/End of Life (EOL):
- Bitdefender Antivirus Scanner for Unices: Mid-2000s (around 2004–2010)
Details: Bitdefender previously offered a consumer product for Linux and other UNIX-based systems under the name Bitdefender Antivirus Scanner for Unices. The product reached its End of Life (EOL) in the mid-2000s and has not been maintained or distributed since then.
While user interest in a new Linux version is appreciated and feedback continues to be collected, a consumer based Bitdefender product for Linux is currently not on the development roadmap (

Details: These Android products and tools are no longer supported or maintained, and they are not planned for reintroduction in future Bitdefender offerings. Some of their core functionalities have been integrated or replaced by improved features in current Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android product.
