I’ve recently come across Bitdefender’s new campaign “They Wear Our Faces”, and I have to say — it truly hit me on a personal level.
Living in the Middle East, I’ve seen how fast technology is evolving, and how scams have also changed with it. Deepfakes, fake news, and AI-generated voices are now part of our daily reality.
What I really liked about this campaign is that it doesn’t just talk about cybersecurity — it talks about human security too.
Fear, misinformation, and emotional manipulation are becoming new weapons in digital spaces. That’s why awareness is more important than ever.
Bitdefender’s message here feels strong, real, and needed. It reminds us that staying safe online isn’t only about having an antivirus — it’s about having knowledge, empathy, and balance.
I’m proud to see campaigns like this reaching people around the world, and I hope we’ll see more awareness content in Arabic in the future — our region really needs it.
