Hello,
These fake infection pop-ups are very common. Check out this article as well:
https://www.bitdefender.com/en-us/blog/hotforsecurity/fake-antivirus-pop-ups
Like it can be noticed in the notification, the pop-up comes from the browser and not the actual antivirus. Notice the URL as well. Best thing to do is know the difference between real and fake and follow the recommendations from the articles shared here. Regards
You can report consumer fraud in the US here:<https> //reportfraud.ftc.gov/
Since the government is shutdown it doesn't work, but that is one place to report when it works.
You could also send the URL info to the Scammer Payback YT channel for them to investigate and help get them shutdown.
Regarding the security product you can submit to Bitdefender here: https://www.bitdefender.com/business/support/en/77209-343057-submitting-sample-files-and-websites-for-analysis.html
There are many threat blacklists that you can use on your perimeter defense such as threatfox to help traffic never reach the endpoint.
Stay safe and secure!
