Hi Bitdefender Team,
I’ve been a Bitdefender user since 2023, and I truly appreciate the quality of your products. Bitdefender has done an excellent job at blocking viruses and malware without slowing down my computer, even during gaming or daily use. The reason I’m writing this post, even though I don’t plan to renew my subscription, is because I genuinely like your company and want to share some thoughts for improvement.
In recent years, scammers have changed their tactics dramatically. Nowadays, most scams no longer happen through infected websites or emails — instead, they come through SMS, WhatsApp messages, and phone calls impersonating government or financial institutions.
I understand that Bitdefender’s main focus is online and system protection, but I wonder if the company has any plans to expand into AI-driven protection against scam calls or messages in the future. It would be amazing if Bitdefender could help reduce these scams and protect vulnerable people, such as the elderly, from being deceived.
For example, here in Hong Kong, ever since the government required real-name registration for mobile numbers, phone scams have increased several-fold. This is a serious social problem, and I believe companies like Bitdefender have the expertise and technology to make a real difference.
