Version Update

Per web site the latest version of Bitdefender security solutions for Windows is 27.0.55.279, released on October 21, 2025. My win11 laptop has gone through multiple updates since the 21st (both manual & auto) and is currently on 27.0.54.272. Why hasn't it updated to the latest version?

Hello.

If your build number differs, note that updates are being rolled out gradually.

For example, in my case, BD Total Security was updated to the latest version 27.0.55.279 on October 28, which is 1 week after the latest version was released.

So, it usually takes 1 or 2 weeks from the release date for the software to be updated to the latest version.
