Adding Zoho email to outlook 2023 fails

I am trying to add my Zoho email account to my Outlook 2023. I can log into my Zoho account online, trying to add it to my Outlook is another story. I have tried both the imapi and pop settings. Was wondering if the BD firewall was blocking this and how to add an exclusion

Try this:

Open Bitdefender, go to Protection → Firewall → Settings. Click the Rules tab and look for Microsoft Outlook in the list. If it’s listed but blocked, toggle Allow. If it’s missing, click Add Rule and choose the Outlook executable, this is usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE. Then set network type to Home/Office.

Allow Both inbound and outbound and save the rule.

Normally, you can check the Notifications panel in Bitdefender for blocked app attempts. Look for entries mentioning Outlook or SMTP/IMAP. That confirms if Bitdefender intervened or not.
