BitDefender dashboard says computer is fine with no infections, but ever scans finds this and it conitunes to be a "remaining issue"

How do I remove this?

I've sent several messages to BitDefender support, but have not received any response! I recently purchased BitDefender. It's been on my computer for only a week. Not to impress. Finding it strange that it'll find something and not give me a simple option to deal with it.

Please pack the file(s) in an archive, protected with the password infected.

Attach the archive in your next post here.(if it's too big, upload it on www.rapidshare.com or other server and leave here the download link).

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONTEST.DLL
  • I ended up downloading Malewarebytes' Anti-Malware and running it. It found ever parts of the infected file and removed it. Scan is clean now.

Kind of annoyed that I still have not received a response from support, and had to use a free software to remove the problem. <img class=" />
