This might be a longer than neccesary post, but since I spent my last 48 hours trying to figure out a problem that included chrome, .net environment, Windows encryption settings, router, my NAS (Mail server) and 1 zillion other things, it ended up beeing Bitdefender who needed some exceptions added. This included my NAS IP (it was a send/receive error on my SSL/TLS POP). Strange thing about this one is that is did work, I got my mails fetched, but outlook reported an error, this was the first one I managed to "fix".
Wow(!!!) I though, maybe all the other strange errors could be fixed as well, so all the Swedish newspapers share the same image server, and since a few days,. I did not not get any images up, I have of course tried to pause my adblocker and a lot of searching in my router logs etc… turned out, I simply added an exception for that server as well, restarted chrome and tatdaaa…. next one was air france. I could not get my booking up, but it for some reason worked when in an incongnito windows (do no ask me why). Added that server to the exceptions as well, restarted chrome, and pow-just worked.
I am not really complaining here, just wanted to advice people out there that if things are not behaving the way they should (sine like the last week/few days), you might have the samee problems as me… it is a b*tch to find it, and I have made so many changes now that I need to back I would like to save you the time and frustration.
