My Bitdefender on My Cell phone is not working

Question

I just got this very first cell phone ever & I went to put a security camera onto it i scanned the code it downloaded the app then said it needed to be upgraded so I did that then all of a sudden i have over 200 infected viruses on My cell phone & Bit Defender is not doing a damn thing.

I know nothing of this stuff I can't do anything with it. I need to take it in somewhere?

This tech is all new to Me, I really don't care what it is called, I made sure I had the BD that's all that really matters & it did not stop anything. It doesn't even acknowledge it is even there, it says I'm clean, no I am not, I can't even touch the screen with out pop ups non stop all kinds even saying I now have ****** etc,… I never touch ****** or anything of the sort I don't even have Male friends on any of My Media if I do not know them personally.

I Am a Totally strait female,  The People all over the Media sites R the scammers.

All I need is a Security Camera so I can Leave My Home & go Out 4 Once, without the Super & or Staff coming into My Home that They Do when I go out. & Yes They Do.

I already Had a few Google play games I added Days B4 hand & that was ok, until the security scan just done on the square bar then I got infected when they asked to upgrade it on the spot as I just got it then.  Now I'm screwed over.

oh, the security camera is that Spaceman Robot from Temu Canada Do not buy it. I got the Dark Silver.

Other then that I only had My Google and My Youtube and BitDefender on My Phone nothing more. That I put on.

The Facebook app was there on My Screen when purchased & I never used it on My phone I have a computer 4 that.

so even if I was to have paid 4 just the Android only I would of gotten the same answer clean?

Or Would that 1 be different in anyway? I Wouldn't think so.

I paid 4 the 1 computer and 5 devices & the Cell phone was the 1 device. so it was paid 4 & it should be working right. as far as i am concerned it is not.

Hi,

By "putting a security camera", are you actually referring to an app/software for a security camera that needs to be downloaded and installed on your mobile device to view and control the camera remotely? At least this is what I understand from your post… if this is the case, and if after downloading this app, you got a message saying that your device is infected, I think there are two possibilities: the first, your device isn't actually infected and that message is actually adware/scareware that was somehow bundled with the app. Ads, which may be pop-ups or videos, may not be a problem at first, but behind them may be a suspicious program monitoring the user’s activity, establishing a shadow pattern of browsing habits, or encouraging them to purchase a product through an affiliate network.

The app itself may not be suspicious or infected, hence the absence of detection from Mobile Security. But these messages can actually be false virus alerts with darker purposes.

Fake antivirus pop-ups are among the most common scareware used by cybercriminals to trick users into handing over personal data, paying for fake services and actually introducing malicious software onto their devices (infostealers, ransomware or spyware). Basically, you receive a message that your device is infected, you rush to click on whatever link or contact number is displayed there, and then the actual scam/data theft unfolds… these kind of messages prey on the sense of urgency.

The second scenario is where the device actually got infected upon downloading something bundled with that camera app, or the app was not trustworthy in the first place, or the QR code was tampered with and took you someplace else. But in this scenario, Mobile Security should have blocked the malicious redirect..

So, there are a couple of scenarios here, and without knowing exactly how that "virus infection" message looks like, I can't really pronounce myself here… If this message is still there somewhere and you can post a screenshot here, that would prove most helpful, since we can usually distinguish a false alarm from a real threat around here..
