Sat. 04/04/2026 @12:12 pm CDT — Good afternoon. I've noticed that every time I turn my PC on and finally open Bitdefender, it shows me an error [indicated by a red spot on my login identity in the upper right]. Following it tells me that it couldn't update because I wasn't online. I don't connect to the Internet immediately after turning the computer, nor do I leave it plugged in.
So, I'm wondering is there a setting that I've missed, where the program will just check for its updates when it knows that the system is connected to the Internet, rather than shoot out an error, because it's really not one. There are times when I'll work for a couple of hours w/o connecting.
