Total security

Question

Hi everybody,

I had to reinstall my win 11 on my laptop and Bitdefender Total Security among other things.When I reinstalled the Bitdefender, I received a message that my subscription is expired but when I entered the activation code, I received a message that my subscription is valid up to 5.2028(I have sent three messages to three “helpers” at Bitdefender  support but no solution so far…)

For the time being - am I safe? and how do I sort out my problems?

Hi, please note that I have removed your screenshot as your email address was visible and this is a public forum after all, so it's not really recommended to share any sensitive data.

Try to use the switch account option underneath your email address and re-enter your Bitdefender account credentials, for the Central account where the subscription was activated. This should help sync Bitdefender with your active subscription. If you reinstalled Windows, this means you are doing a fresh install of Bitdefender and you should also remove your previous device from Central, under the My Devices tab, to free up the slot. Even if it's the same device, Central doesn't know that in this scenario, so the previous installation may still be counted there, if this makes sense.
