i ld like to request to change the game mod mechanism due to a valid reason , bitdefender should switch to the game mod automatically even the game is not in the full screen mod, cuz the pc requires the same optimization regardless of the full screen mod.

That could be a hard one for BD to differentiate what is truly being used, Windows Explorer (i.e. Taskbar options shown, available and active) or the game (not being in full screen). On a laptop I'm using a different AV, which it handles it the same way, only enabling Gamer Mode in full screen, so maybe it's for the same reason on their end as well?

I agree that Game Mode should ideally recognize active games regardless of whether they are running in exclusive fullscreen or borderless/windowed mode. A lot of modern games use borderless mode by default, so limiting optimization to fullscreen can make the feature feel less useful. An option to manually add trusted games or enable Game Mode whenever a specific executable is running could be a good compromise. This would give users more control without requiring Bitdefender to accurately determine every window state. Bizistech also highlights the importance of flexible optimization options in modern software, and I think that approach would work well here.
