Stopping automatic scanning on an external hard drive

This issue could be a sequel to the previous one I posted.
After the updating to the latest version of Bitdefender, I noticed that its behavior regarding drive scanning has changed.
Bitdefender now seems to automatically scan the external hard drive connected to my computer unexpectedly, without my consent.

As the relevant option of the analyses does not correspond, please advise me on how to disable this option, so that I can decide whether to run a scan on that drive, just as I do with the internal hard drive.

Hi,

Check the status of this setting:

If it's set to autoscan, disable it and check again if that external hard drive is still scanned automatically.
Alternatively, I think you can exclude it from scanning altogether, just click on Manage exceptions to exclude the drive from all scans if desired.

Good evening, Thanks for the reply.

Bitdefender was not set to perform automatic scanning on the external hard drive.
It was a similar issue to the program behavior I described in a previous post.

By the way, I would like to inform you that I followed the support instructions by reinstalling the program, but the "problem" was not resolved.
I'm currently re-checking the program's behavior, and so far it has shown no signs of scanning the drive in the background.

But if it happens again, I will add the drive to the exceptions list, as you suggest.
