Junk email filter useless

Hi. My Junk mail filter is totally useless. The Outlook filter is putting obvious spam into the Junk folder while Bitdefender is marking them as safe. Is there a fault with Bitdefender?

And I can't upload a screenshot to demonstrate problem.

Hello,

Outlook’s filter may decide what is spam/junk, while the Email Protection feature of Bitdefender may decide “this is safe” because it did not detect a malicious or phishing threat in that message. That is especially common with nuisance spam, marketing junk, fake promotions, newsletters, and low-quality bulk mail that does not contain a clearly malicious attachment or link. Email Protection labels new emails as safe or dangerous based on its scan results, and this is basically a webmail-oriented protection layer for incoming mail threats. Its labels in mail apps may also vary because the feature is primarily designed around webmail or browser use.

If you are on a supported POP3 Outlook/Thunderbird setup, enable Bitdefender Antispam as well and use its toolbar. With this you can mark missed spam with 'Is Spam', which moves it to junk and helps improve future detection. You can also add recurring senders to the Spammers list. Here's how this module works:
