Hello,
If someone already had the similar issue, I would be grateful for shared solutions without suggestion of reinstalling Bitdefender (since I have a lot of custom firewall rules).
All the SafePay outgoing connections are blocked with error = ERR_NETWORK_ACCESS_DENIED(138), that means my firewall in alert mode blocks those processes at the access time: obk.exe, vulnerability.scan.exe, seccenter.exe.
Those processes are blocked even without using VPN.
First, I have tried to add firewall rules for those processes, by adding full path of the process as usually but saving the rule has no effect specifically only for Bitdefender's related paths. When I choose the file's path from the file browser's dialog - the same result the rule not added.
Logically I understand that Bitdefender already handles and should allow all its' related processes which are correctly digitally signed by itself, but in practice it denies own processes.
Second, I've tried to whitelist those processes as exception for protection features: antivirus, online threat prevention, advanced thread defense. That didn't helped.
About my software versions and configurations:
- Win 11 25h2,
- Total Security.
- Firewall in alert mode, stealth mode = on, default app behavior = block, port scan protection = on.
- All Bitdefender's profiles are disabled.
- Bitdefender's network adapters in home/office mode or dynamic network.
- Advanced Threat Defense, Exploit Detection = on.
- Online Threat Protection / Web Protection = everything on.
