Everyone who is used to firewalls tends to block or allow domains, including subdomains via a wildcard notation
*.domain.tld
I can't find a comparable solution in "Parental Control".
If the general function of choosing applications to block or allow would be working sufficiently, this mentioned lack of configurability wouldn't be as harmful as it is.
It shouldn't be my job to decide a never-ending list of FQDNs every evening to be blocked or allowed.
