Disinfect Failed

I am new to BitDefender & this forum. Two problems!


1) I disabled automatic scan at 2 in the the morning because I do not leave my PC on overnight in order to save electricity. How do I set an automatic scan for viruses for say 2pm? I have searched the BitDefender help menu and Googled for this problem, but so far am unsuccessful.


2) My first scan with BitDefender found a bunch of files that could not be disinfected. For my desktop, rebooting fixed the problem. However for my new netbook, I can not resolve the problem. All of the subject files are in a phantom folder - one that I cannot find with a search. I also cannot find the files with using FIND. Below is a list of the problem files. I will be forever grateful to the person that sets me straight.

Please note that there is no Cookies folder in the Edwin folder, nor are any of the subject files found on my PC

  • to a scan for 2pm, choose, advanced view > antivirus > virusscan > right click any of the scans you want, deep, full or quick > open > scheduler, then pick the options you want
