Hi Bitdefender Support Team & Community,
I am seeking assistance with a critical system crash occurring on my Windows 11 system immediately after installing Bitdefender Ultimate Security.
Problem Description
Shortly after installing Bitdefender Ultimate Security (or during system boot with Bitdefender running), Windows 11 crashes with a black screen / BSOD displaying the stop code:MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (Error Code: 0x0000001A)
The crash causes a system boot loop, and the device only stays stable when booted into Safe Mode or after running the official Bitdefender Uninstall Tool.
💻 System & Environment Details
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- Product: Bitdefender Ultimate Security
- Installation Source: Downloaded directly from Bitdefender Central
- Other Security Software: None (Windows Defender was default, no third-party AV present)
🛠️ Troubleshooting Already Attempted
- Safe Mode: Booted into Safe Mode where Windows runs without crashing, confirming a low-level driver loading conflict.
- System File Integrity: Ran
sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (both completed with no remaining errors). - RAM Check: Verified physical RAM stability using Windows Memory Diagnostic (no hardware errors detected).
- Clean Reinstall: Used the official Bitdefender Removal Tool and reinstalled from Central, but the
MEMORY_MANAGEMENT crash returns once real-time protection initializes.
❓ Request
Has anyone else experienced driver collision issues with Bitdefender's low-level memory monitoring drivers (gzflt.sys / bdusp.sys) on recent Windows 11 builds? Is there a known workaround or specific module (e.g., Advanced Threat Defense or Ransomware Remediation) that needs to be toggled off to stop the memory error?
Any guidance from the community or team managers would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
