Bitdefender Account - Web Sage

Question

Should I stay signed into my Bitdefender Account all the time? I know other antivirus programs say to stay signed in for better protection. Asking as wondering if Web Sage works  if not signed into my Bitdefender  Account as I see it states you must be signed in so does this mean signed into my account or just signed onto my laptop? Just want to make sure I understand how Web Sage works before I install it.

As far as my understanding, yes, you need to be signed into your account on the device you're on, in order for Web Sage to be totally active.

Am I protected if I'm not signed in?

"No. Web Sage protects you only while you are signed in to your Bitdefender account. When signed out, it is not running. Sign in again and protection resumes immediately. This applies to the free version too".

I'm using Bitdefender AV Plus, so I have the basic protection, being signed in.

As long as you're signed into Web Sage you're fine. You don't need to sign out of it. The example image I posted above, is from a Linux OS (Mint Cinnamon) using the Chromium browser, just being signed into my Central account.The sign in links Web Sage with your Central account, verifying what type of account you have, Total being totally supported (all Web Sage protection features). So yes, always stay signed into Web Sage.
