Pre Purchase Question

Good Afternoon,

Recently my fiance was using DrWeb antivirus. After an upgrade from drweb we had an issue with her sil 3114 raid 1 disappearing. She lost a lot of information because of this. Seemed like the raid would just break. This raid contains all the graphics she makes as she's a graphics designer. My question is, is there a chance of this happening with BitDefender Internet Security 2009? Her specs on her computer are:

Asus A8N-SLI Premium Motherboard with Nvidia raid 1 for her main c: drive and sil 3114 raid 1 for her storage drive.

AMD 64 3200+ processor

Nvidia 7700 Graphics card

3 gigs of ram

Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS sound card.

BD has its problems but I haven't read about BD causing lost Raid info.

I'd back up all important data before installing BD.

As fungus said u should take backup of ur important data timely

as far as BD is concerned it dosent have this problems go for a trial if u like then buy it

Boggles the mind that an AV product would trash RAID, especially hardware RAID off of a dedicated controller.
