Torpark 2.0.0.3a.exe Installation Infected?

Options

I downloaded and installed torpark browser 2.0.0.3a from

http://www.download.com/Torpark/3000-2144_...tml?tag=lst-0-2

I used the downloaded exe to install it. This downloaded exe when scanned gave a negative result, but the resulting folder and files scanned positive for a trojan. My resulting zip is attached. False positive or not?

Thanks.

Update: The zip upload is unsuccessful. Upload directory writeable? The file can be attained from above link and installed. I assume the results will be the same.

    Hi PawBear,

There is a problem with the Forum Server and currently attachments are not possible.

Instead you can send the zip file to virus_submission@bitdefender.com, and put in the e-mail's subject the word 4vir. You'll receive the answer through e-mail.

    Cris.

Starting from today you can once again upload your files on the forums. There is a 2MB limit.

The file is 10MB, way over the 2MB limit. I got it from the link above and I'm checking it now.

    /LE:

The file is not malware by itself; it is however used to kill processes and that's how it got signed. I'll remove the detection.
