Enabling Automatic Device Scanning

I am currently running Bit Defender Antivirus 2009 on my Windows Vista Ultimate.

When I first installed Bit Defender Antivirus 2009, it always prompts me to scan all external media devices (external hard disc, USB pen drives, CD/DVD drive).

However, recently, it has not been asking me if I want to scan the drive.

Is there a way to enable this?

go to bitdefender - switch to advanced view and select the antivirus module. in the antivirus module, select the 2nd tab, scans and click on the Properties icon in the left part of Device Scanning under User Tasks. In the Properties window, you will find the necessary option in one of those tabs.
