Password Says It Changed, But It Doesn't

Options

:o

I have tried several times to change the password for parental controls because my daughter figured out what it is. I went into Edit Account and changed it there and it appeared to work. I rebooted, signed in, and tried to change some settings in Parental Controls and it tells me the password is not valid. I try the old password, and it works. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? It's probably something really simple, that is how it goes with me <img class=" />

Thanks!

    Hi Glory Be!

Could you tell us the solution? Maybe someone else has the same problem. :)

    Hello Glory Be!

Before BitDefender changes the password you have to enter it twice. After you done that than the new password will be active. I think that you forgot that.

  • Sorry to be so long getting back on this one, but if I remember correctly I had to go to Settings and uncheck the Enable Password Protection under General Settings and then once it wasn't password protected anymore it let me check the box again and put in the new one. I do hope this is helpful to someone else because I couldn't find any instructions on it anywhere.
