My Bitdefender Antivirus Plus V10 Is Annyoting Me!
Hi. I have BD AVP v10 and my firewall is very annoying. I use firefox, and everytime I want to surf on the internet that little window appears, and tells me that my computer is trying to connect to the internet on this and that IP, port, etc. I checked the "Remember this answer" box, but everytime I go to a website it's telling me. I created a program rule, and nothing... That window is appearing every second " />

Hello
Try this go to traffic make a new rule for firefox where you select by remote address any and port any. This is my suggestion. I will contact someone who can assist you further. Normally in BitDefender Antivirus Plus you don't have such options. I configured one rule and I didn't receive any popups. So you must be using internet security.

Hi idioteque,
What you are describing is not the normal behaviour of BitDefender Firewall, so there must be something wrong with your settings/rules for the firewall.
Please go to the Firewall section, open the Firefox rule (double click on it, in the Traffic list), make a screenshot and attach it to your next post.

Hi guys. So I made the screen shot (screenshot2.png) what you've asked, and I made the first screen shot to show you the events. It's something with my firewall setting that's 100% sure, but I don't know what when I set to "Allow all" it's working perfectly, when I set to Allow all white listed it doesn't. When I add a program rule for Any application on any IP:port works perfectly, too, but that's nonsense, because then my PC won't be protected.
Ohh and btw at the first screen shot, the events what you see, that's just program rules for Y!Messenger and Firefox only.0 -
Hi!
You should try to make a repair of BD, or, eventually, reinstalling it. This should solve your problem.

Hi idioteque,
Do you have any other firewalls enabled? This includes Windows Firewall...
If this is the case, you should disable/uninstall any other software firewalls you might have, because they might interfere with BitDefender.

Hello
If your previous firewall was Zonealarm than the chance is very high that when you use the uninstaller that not everything is removed. Follow these instructions : http://forums.zonealarm.org/zonelabs/board...;message.id=103
Delete also the rule for firefox and recreate it after you as Cris said disabled or removed your other firewall.
