Bitdefender 2009 Cannot Get Malware Scan To Work

Installed total 2009 0n 3 laptops all have vista 2 are 32 bit premium the other is 64bit ultimate first to have no problems the last one i cannot do a malware scan have sent a sysdump.tar in but fileinfo2008.exe file will not install can anyone help with getting it to scan please
