    I forgot the password that I set up for parental control and bit defender is blocking access to my bank account. what can I do please help me ana

    hi, i have had bitdefender on my computer for awhile now, for some reason it is now asking me for a password for parental control. Ive never set up the parental control and i cant get into any website. can you please send the procedure to change the password

    When you set up the Parental control module it will ask you to create a password when you try to enable certain settings for Parental Control - this is a mandatory setting that you need to make when enabling this part of the product.


    If you do not remember the password that you set up please let me know and I'll send you a procedure by e-mail that will reset that password.

    When you request a patch please mention the following two mandatory information:


    - what BitDefender product are you using


    - what Windows are you using


    As soon as I will have these information I will send you the requested appropriate patch.

    The bit defender product im using is : Bitdefender Total Security 2010 version : 13.0.21


    and The windows version im using is : Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hi zeal deal,


    well, maybe you'd better "up" the message tomorrow. We can no longer settle the problem on our own as we did with BD 2008, fumbling in the registry basis, only BD tech could send you a patch.


    So be patient, someone from BD could answer you tomorrow. (I guess everyone are not in holidays... however I'd better not break a leg in August, on a soccer match evening, and so on... ;) )


    As far as passwords are required, I discovered I'd better put every codes, activation, address, names, anything I need to start or open something and so on in a notebook.


    Paper support could help.
