Antivirus V10 ****** Control

How do you Permit/Deny an entire domain with one entry? Is there a way to use wildcards when specifying a domain name when ****** control is active?

Example: setting www.google.com to permit scripts does not grant permission to that entire domain. BD still prompts for MANY, MANY more instances that are still part or the google domain. ie: images.google.com as well as each sub-address from there.

Unless I have missed something here at this point it appears ****** control is a rather useless feature. It appears cookie control has the same shortcoming.

Try to add this rule as an example .gunk.be (If you choose block you will receive a popup also on the subdomains) and choose deny in ****** control. The only problem that you will receive are the popup's but if you add a rule as I described than you will receive a popup if you want to deny or allow BitDefender will automatically create rules for this when you select your choice and choose for remember this. ****** control is a bit too aggressive.But mostly the images are hosted on other websites than google.com that is also the reason why BitDefender doesn't react. You have to block these websites also.

If I am understanding you correctly there is no way to PERMIT an entire domain.

When applied to THIS site (http://forum.bitdefender.com/) a popup is received for EACH and EVERY post you try to view. That seems rather ridiculous to me. At that rate you would have an enormous number of PERMIT tags in a short time.

Correct. That is also why it's disabled on default and also why I said that it is too aggressive. You can reduce the popup's only when you select always remember after sometime when you visit for that particular site than you will not get any popup's. Because BitDefender created rules.
