Have a new Sony Vaio laptop with OS Windows Vista Home Premium
Not possible to install Windows Updates
No error msg - only saying not possible to install updates
The laptop is registered - so this part should be ok
Any suggestions/thoughts ?

Did you accept the licence agreement? Try also to empty your recycle bin.

You can still try what that article described. To go to run press the win+R button. Deleting the temp files is just the same as for windows xp. More info there isn't available.
