System Task Last Run Not Updated

I have the Full System Scan set to run every day.

When I check the Virus Scan tab the Last Run date is always "Never" though the logs show otherwise.

Any ideas?

(I've attached a screenshot showing this.)

I have just tried this. The patch executed correctly but BitDefender crashed and I still cannot change the schedule.

I applied the steps in KB#547 to successfully fix "scan failed to execute" errors, but now I get incorrect Last Run dates. Logs are correct. How do I fix this?

  • Hello stimbo,

Please be so kind as to tell us on what operating system(and on how many bits) are you running BitDefender on and also what built do you have for your product ---> you can check this by right clicking on the system tray icon, then selecting About.

    Thank you!

  • Hello stimbo,

We have had reports of this issue being fixed by disabling User Account Control for Vista in the Control Panel. Please be so kind as to disable UAC, the run a scan and test in order to see if the interface displays the correct information.

Nope. That didn't work. I disabled UAC and ran a Quick System Scan.

After it completed, it still shows a March 13th date (which is the date of the FIRST Quick System Scan).

Is there not a patch for this?

  • Hello stimbo,

The quick system scan will not count as a system scan - in order to run a system scan please try running a full or a deep system scan and tell us if the notification in the dashboard has changed.
