Safe Mode

I have tried to scan in safe mode using the batch file in the old topics. When i click on it it says something like system cannot find the path specified. That was for the 2008 version. I was wondering if there is another way for the 2009. I am using total security 2009.

i would but it says something about cannot load components when i click on the icon on the desktop
