Internet Connectivity Just Suddenly Shuts Down
Hi. Yesterday (April 24th), I installed Bitdefender Total security 2009 and started to encounter the problem when my internet connectivity shuts down after 15 - 20 min every time I turn on my computer. I didn't have such thing before. Can anyone help me to resolve that issue?

remove all of your previous AV/firewall suites properly using their own uninstallers!
Then install BD again.

It did not help. Same thing happens over and over again. However, now I also can't access certain sites. I don't , I'll wait a day and try to get my money back. I guess it would be the best solution and I just wonder why do they call it the best antivirus software ?

Please tell me what other security solutions are you running on the same system and also the name of your BitDefender product and OS version.
Have you tried to see if by disabling the Firewall in BitDefender you still have the same issue? Please try it as a first troubleshooting steps and tell me what results you have.0 -

Just to let ppl know it to do with bitdefender firewall NDIS filter Driver, conflicting with NVIDIA nForce Ethernet, so just goto the local area connection properties and uncheck bitdefender firewall NDIS filter Driver, and restart ur pc and ur internet will work again as normal with BitDefender Total Security 2009 of other BitDefenders

did this problem happen before you had BitDefender?
This problem could be due to a virus, probably conficker! Its characteristics are similar to what you are facing now!
