Bitdefender Is 2009 Firewall Error

Appreciate anyone who can help me with this Nightmare my IS 2009 is not able neither to start the firewall nor with the network configuration.

Firewall: Can't communicate with the BitDefender Virus Shield service!

Network configuration cannot find any of my network adapters!

"Please select adapter first!"

My laptop is HP Compaq 6710b

I have both:

Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Ethernet

Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

Please rescue me!
