Can Not Log Into "my Bitdefender"/account
Hi,
I have been looking at renewing my BD internet security v10 as it is due to expire in early june.
I tried to log into "My Bitdefender" using my username (email address) and password but it does not seem to accept it (it requests the same info over and over).
So thought maybe my password was wrong so requested the "forgot password" link, got the email and changed to a new password.........still same problem and wont let me log in.
Went into my installed Bitdefender and updated me details with new password, then back to "My Bitdefender" and tried to log in again.....no success again.
Went into support and selected appropriate info but to send the request for help it then requests me to input my u/n and p/w again........bit stupid if the problem is that I can not log in!! " />
So here I am ---- does anyone have any thoughts on what could the problem (and/or even how to contact support if it wont allow logging in)

Hi there! I have verified your online account under the e-mail address you used to set up the forum account, and it is activated! Please try again to login into your BitDefender account:

and tell us if you receive any errors; you should be able to login now without any difficulties.0 -

Unfortunately, I am still unable to log in.
I input my username (email address) and password but no errors show.
When I click onto 'login' button, my usename (email address) and password disappear and both must be input again.
(I tried with my old password as well and an error messages states 'wrong password')0 -

Please be so kind as to try to see if by using a different web browser you are able to connect to:
http://myaccount.bitdefender.com
and log in with the e-mail address used to create the forum account as well.

Thanks for the thought.
Firstly, I tried on another PC in my home which has both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox.
On both IE and FF I was able to log in.
So secondly, I installed Firefox on my PC and was also able to log in - woohoo.
But why could I not log in under my IE on my PC......any thoughts?0 -

Concerning your inquiry, my recommendation would be to delete cookies, temporary Internet files, browser cache and browsing history in IE, then restart this browser and try to see if you can access and log into the on-line account:0 -

Well deleted all as you suggested and restarted browser, but same problem - can not log into My Bitdefender/account via Internet Explorer.
Although this time my username (email address) did not disappear (password disappeared though)
Very wierd
(For info - this type of situation has happened on another site as well -- was able to log in (u/n and p/w) and then all of a sudden could not log in anymore.....but on our other PC it was no problem).0
