Firefox Is Blocked

Options

Hello,

We use bitdefender2008. This product has never given a problem within WinXP and pleased us very much.

Now we bought a computer with WinVista on.

Bitdefender is now blocking firefox for some functions.

fe. upload on speedtest.net

fe. profile information with games on facebook.com

...

When we put BD to game mode, the problems disappear...

What functions can we adjust that those problems disappear on the normal firewall?

Internet explorer has no problems.

already thanks.

Thanks for the response, but firefox is already allowed... (where i look...)

In what topic must i allow firefox?

I go to firewall, and there where the programs are. Firefox has the same rights as IE, which has no problems.

    grz.

    Hi

change firewall to 'allow known programmes'. If still firefox does not work, try out to do as follows.

firewall - rules - add rule: browse and find firefox (local - no, protocol - any)

Thanks. i just made the update to Firefox 3.5 and then checked all the options and rules again.

    But no luck.

So i have checked the logfiles in Bitdefender for the application Firefox

And then i see very often :

[bDFTDIF][DEVIO] Application error. User buffer too small.

    What can this mean?
