Bd Firewall Vs Windows Live Messenger, Pls Help!

well, the general problem i should tell is,

if my firewall is turn on, the Windows live messenger is cannot connect.....,

but if the firewall is turn off, the Windows live is work what it should....

i already set my BD firewall to Allow my msnmsgr.exe

my BD is BD internet security 2009

windows XP SP3

helppppppppp.... should i must turn off my firewall to connect to MSN??????????????? "

almost forgot, it happens when:

i use MSN 8.5 version (works very well),

i update it to 14 version <<<< it cannot connect due to connection problem (i dont know why)

i re install to 8.5 version <<<<<<< cannot connect too "
