Av 2009 Install Fails With Error Code 2762

I just purchased and downloaded BitDefender AV 2009 1 year subscription, 1 user, from Dell. I am installing on a Toshiba Satellite M305-S4910 - Core Duo T6400, 4G RAM - running Vista Home Premium SP2. I start the installation and it prompts me to download and install a newer version, which I do. The install fails with the following error (have tried twice):

"An error occurred duing the installation of assembly component {63E949F6-03BC-5C40-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x80070BC9.”

Then I get the following error:

"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2762."

HELP?

Dear sir

i didn't want to open a new topic regarding the same issue,

I have vista 64

i have total security 2009

it was already installed on my system but and i had some issues with it so i uninstall it then i didn't manage to setup it again and every time when the installation comes near the 99% it rollback the installation then it show me either i choos to finish because installation failed or uninstall when i click the uninstall choice it give me that error 2762

i tried CClean nothing happened ,also run it on safe mode nothing change.

please need some help.

Please download and run our uninstall tool from the next link:http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall .Reboot your computer after that and download the BitDefender installation kit for 64 bits from here :http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2009_64b.exe . Run it and let us know if you manage to install BitDefender .
