Bitdefender Internet Security 2009 Issue

I need some help with this one.

I have this installed on my dual boot machine running Vista Ultimate x64 & Win7 RC & it works fine.

I install it to the second PC, installs fine. Updates and all.

I restart the PC & log in & all that come sup is a black screen.

The HDD light is still doing it's thing so it's loading as normal except for the display. This PC is also running Vista Ultimate x64 but has SP2 installed.

It's not the SP as it did it with SP1 as well.

Any ideas as to why it works fine on my Vista install & not the second PC's?

Please try starting your computer in Safe Mode following the next steps and let us know if you have the same issue :

- restart the computer;

- repeatedly press the "F8" key several times before Microsoft Windows begins

to load (you need to press "F8" until you will be displayed a text menu);

- select "SAFE MODE" in the text menu and press "Enter".

- wait while Windows loads in Safe Mode; this process ends with a confirmation

message; click "Yes" to acknowledge.

BD doesn't load nor start in safemode.

I was able to get it to the desktop today BUT explorer.exe stops responding but cannot kill nor restart the process.

Sidebar process loads but doesn't load the graphical part of it.

Same with firefox.

BD itself "loads" but cannot open the gui.

Now, Eset Nod32 is still installed but completely disabled.

When I tried BD previously, I had Eset uninstalled & had these issues.

The machine is clean of any malware as that PC is only used for email from trusted family & a few golf sites & a puzzle page.

Any other ideas?
