Bd 2009 Total Security - Network Tab Issue

Downloaded 1 PC 3 year license and was wondering if this tab has any significance for a single user?

Only computer that has BD is this computer listed that says its offline. Is it supposed to say online? If so, when I leave the network and re-apply the computer, it says 'The remote computer could not be reached. Please check your connection settings.' or it just says that I don't have BD installed or that its not accessible.

Im on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

For a single computer the Network feature is useless. This module was introduced for users who have more than one computer connected in a local network . In this way they are able to manage the BitDefender products thorough the network from a single location .

Normally , if your network is configured correct your own computer should appear as online. It is not necessary to troubleshoot this issue as long as you you don't have any other computers connected in a network .
