Bd Services Not Responding

Hi Folks,

I am new to Bit Defender. Now turned on to BD (BD Total Security 2009) when *** Failed to remove Sality Virus.!!!

Everything worked fine for few days, until I turned on Gamemode ( don't know whether its the exact reason). Now when computer turns on BD Tray icon goes Gray after few second telling "BitDefender Services Not responding" vsserv.exe unavailable at the moment and asking to restart computer.

Well I then tired disabling all services one by one. When i disable bdagent.exe from the Startup, BD started working fine, except that there is no more tray icon. When I tried to activate bdagent manually, it goes back to same condition stating "BitDefender Services Not responding" vsserv.exe unavailable at the moment.

Can some one help me solve this issue..?

    Hello Deepak ,

As you said , a temporary workaround is to disable bdagent from startup but this fix only applies in certain circumstances . This issue can have multiple causes and that is why an email ticket is required for further investigation . If you have any other suggestions in regard to this issue please post them here :http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=12902
