Scan Actitivity Bar Disabled With Two Big X's On It

IS 2009 on Win Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP 2.

After a restart my computer the scan activity bar showed two big X's over File Zone and Internet Zone. Uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Threat scanner service is not running. In trying to start it I get an error: The BitDefender Threat Scanner service terminated with the following error: The class is configured to run as a security id different from the caller (error 0x80004015).

This is the output of the command "sc query scan"

SERVICE_NAME: scan

TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS

STATE : 1 STOPPED

WIN32_EXIT_CODE : -2147467243 (0x80004015)

SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0)

CHECKPOINT : 0x0

WAIT_HINT : 0x0

Ran a deep scan and found no malware.

What do I do?

    Hello RHE09 ,

In case you still have the same issue , we would like you to run one more time the diagnose tools as described in the following BitDefender article :http://www.bitdefender.com/KB389 and reply with the resulting files attached to the email that we have sent you .

    Thank you .

Thanks. Trying uninstall/reinstall one more time did the trick, everything is good now.
