Malware Scan

Hi!

I've had Bitdefender antivirus 2009 for quite some time now, but the status has always been 'YOU HAVE NEVER SCANNED YOUR COMPUTER FOR MALWARE', even though that item is monitored. If i click on 'FIX', it doesn't seem to do anything at all. i'm worried because the antivirus seems to scan outgoing mail when i'm not sending any, and i heard this may be due to malware hiding in the system.

You should try running the first patch from the next BitDefender article . Also make sure that you disable the User Account Control feature , if you are using Windows Vista . Let us know if the same issue is reoccurring after you run the patch .
