Internet Explorer Error

Today I just installed Bitdefender Internet Security 2009. And after that Internet explorer kept moving slowly. I use Bitdefender with the Default Settings. Before I used to have avast before but I used the avast removal tool. Is there a way I can speed up Internet Explorer or is this normal.

Let's test to see what is causing this slowdown . Please follow the steps bellow and test to see if you have the same slowdowns after you disable some BitDefender options:

1. Open BitDefender and click on the Switch to Advanced View button . Click on Antivirus then , under the Shield tab disable the Antiphishing protection for Internet Explorer .

2. Now, click on the Custom Level button under the same page and uncheck the "Scan http traffic " option then click on Ok .

3. Click on "Firewall , disable it temporarily and test the Internet Explorer speed.

Also , please describe us with more details what happens .Is Internet Explorer displaying all webpages slowly or there are certain pages where you have this issue .
