I Need Help!

Hi.

I installed BitDefender v10 and it was fine. When i restarted the computer after the installation, I tried to click on register new key and it didnt work. I rebooted my computer and now when I try to start my computer, it turns blank after the Windows loading bar screen(if you know what I mean) and doesn't load. I've waited like 30 minutes. Please help! My computer was compatible when I installed it, running Windows XP. Right now, I'm on boot mode, I guess its called.

My question is...What can I do?

You should use System Restore from safe mode to restore your system to an earlier state, before BD was installed. Normally, this things shouldn't happene. This could due to the fact that you had other security software installed on your computer. Please view Niels's topic here on how to remove any other security software, before reinstalling BD. Did you first removed your previous antivirus?

Try this to get back in your computer. Press several times on the F8 button before the windows loading screen to enter safe mode and choose load lastworking configuration and press enter to confirm. If that didn't work to the same but choose for safe mode and press also on enter. Log in go to start,my computer,rightclick on my computer and choose properties,system restore and load a system restore point before you had the problems. If it still doesn't work boot also in safe mode choose safe mode put in your windows installation cd-rom go to start,run,type cmd press enter and type sfc /scannow press enter.

For issues with your licence key you have to contact customer care: Customer care You have to press on the image of the lady after that you must select customer care.
