Trouble Connecting To Vnc (tightvnc)

I'm attempting to connect to a TightVNC server on my computer from outside my network and I've concluded that the problem is being caused by BitDefender. I've tried to add a rule to allow TCP Port 5900 to allow connections but I'm still not getting anything. I am able to connect on to other computers in my network that don't use Firewall protection.

Below is a screen shot of the problem. Thoughts?

Hi, I had same issue with RealVNC server. Real hassle.

Check: Other protection running? Check from Control Panel - Security Center - Click Firewall

Is firewall "green"? Does it show only BD running? For some weird reeason, also MS firewall was on.

Do you have rules that are deny, specially system processes?

I managed to fix it eventually.
