Bitdefender 2009: Scan Activity Bar Doesn't Hide Permanently

Each time I start my computer running Windows Vista SP2, BitDefender loads the Scan Activity Bar. I can right click on it, and choose hide. That hides it, but every time I reboot or I restart, it's there again. I even went to the General --> Settings --> and unchecked the Enable the Scan Activity Bar. After doing unchecking the box, the graph no longer shows up... until I reboot or restart my computer. I can't seem to make it permanently go away! The Scan Activity Bar is nice, but since it flashes through my games when I play them, I'd rather turn it off!

Perhaps the Scan Activity Bar could be written as a Logitech G15 Keyboard Plugin?

Let me know.
